GEL

GEL is the primary in-game currency in VAIL VR. It is used to purchase cosmetic items such as weapon skins, character outfits, knives, and capsules from the Amani Market. GEL does not provide gameplay advantages and is intended for cosmetic customization only.

GEL Overview

In VAIL VR, the currency functions as a non-tradable tied to a player’s account. Players earn and spend it to personalize their in-game appearance through cosmetics available in rotating storefronts.

A player’s current balance can be viewed through the in-game Tablet alongside ORE and EXA in the wallet display in the bottom left corner.

How to Acquire GEL

As of 2026, players can obtain this currency through the following methods:

Progression

Players earn GEL by leveling up through the standard progression system. Reaching the maximum level of 50 awards approximately 800 in total.

Prestige System

After reaching level 50, players may choose to prestige. Prestiging resets the player’s level and allows them to earn an additional 800 during the next progression cycle.

Daily Rewards

Players can visit the Citadel each day to claim a daily reward of 25 GEL.

Community Events

Official community events organized through the VAIL VR Discord server may reward participants with it.

Purchasing

GEL can be purchased directly through the in-game store on supported platforms, including the Meta Store and Steam.

Amani Market

The Amani Market, located inside the Citadel, is the in-game marketplace where players can spend it. It is a dedicated social space featuring rotating cosmetic bundles and individual items.

Capsules

Capsules can also be purchased using it. These capsules typically contain randomized cosmetic items and can be bought everywhere through your tablet.
